In a quiet cul-de-sac south of Dortmund city center lies Germany's first love doll brothel. Customers can rent and use a Silicone Sex Doll in this brothel for 80 euros per hour to satisfy their sexual needs. The store has 12 of the animators to choose from, including a Male Sex Doll and an androgynous real doll with both breasts and a penis.

The owner of this brothel, Evelyn Schwarz, is 30 years old. The Granny Sex Doll brothel she founded is also a BDSM (sex related to sadomasochism, BDSM refers to bondage and training, domination and submission, sadism and masochism )place.

Schwartz herself is a BDSM "mistress" (female dominator, sadist). She opened the brothel last year after finding it difficult to find German-speaking female sex workers. She told DW that communicating with each other is very important in BDSM. Those sex workers who come from abroad do not speak German and may miss key messages.

"The other day I saw a video about High Quality Sex Dolls, and I thought it might work in Germany," she says, sitting on the couch. She was surrounded by three busty silicone love dolls, and porn was playing on the TV in the house.

She first ordered 4 real dolls from China. The sex dolls were quickly rented out, and she ordered several more. The purchase price of each silicone love doll is between 1,000 and 2,000 euros. Customers can sit down and choose their favorite sex doll at will.

"They look beautiful, they don't get sick, they don't feel anything, they provide any service without complaint. People can use them however they like," Schwarz told DW about the advantages of these sex dolls. TheThick Sex Doll rental business sees about five to 12 customers a day — mostly men, but occasionally women or couples, she said.

At the brothel, Schwartz had an assistant who helped clean the sex dolls, dress them up and make them up. How to clean the love dolls is a "secret" here, but "they are well cleaned, washed and sanitized after each use", she said.
